As a part of this philosophy, they create and maintain quality, using the plan-do-check-act cycle. They can consider their processes and revisit them in order to evolve and ensure their present practices and processes are efficient and effective.
Environmental Policy
Intech Forge is strongly committed towards preserving the environment and they believe that it is their responsibility to contribute towards a cleaner environment and a healthy society. They strive to prosper together with the local community, customers, employees and all other stakeholders including the environment.
In order to achieve their environmental goals, they have adopted the following practices:
- Minimizing waste and toxic emissions produced by business activities and products which cause adverse effects on the environment.
- Continuous innovation and maintenance of Environmental Management System and performance.
- Promote awareness about various environmental issues like waste management, recycling, global warming etc.
- Adhere to the environmental laws and follow strict standards.
- Efficient use of natural resources, including raw materials, energy, and water especially where these are non-renewable.
- Providing education and specific environmental training to employees in environmental issues and the environmental effects of their activities.
Health and Safety Policy
Human resource is considered to be the most valuable asset at Intech. Therefore they are committed to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for all their employees, visitors, vendors and other people present at the manufacturing space by preventing any work related injuries and illness.
In order to safeguard the most valuable resource, they have a Health and Safety Management System which performs the following tasks:
- Minimize Risks and introduce safe working practices by identifying all workplace hazards, undertaking assessments, performing audits, and taking all necessary actions for prevention & control of injury, ill-health, loss or damage.
- Establish challenging safety benchmarks and leadership review mechanism to ensure continual improvement aimed at the elimination of work-related illness and injury to achieve harmless work atmosphere.
- Provide appropriate training and safety knowledge to all Intech employees, vendors and visitors to enable safe work atmosphere. Adhere to the legal obligations and ensure that the business practices are in accordance with relevant health and safety legislations and standards.
- Involvement of all employees and interested parties regarding matters pertaining to workplace health & safety and take their valuable suggestions for further improvements.
- Defining safety responsibilities for all the employees so that that all incidents/injuries are prevented and everyone is responsible for safety of their own and their processes. Adherence to the safety rules is mandatory.
